Main Characters
Development of the main characters: Ronou, Mune, Sabér, and Sarn. Looking over my older sketches, I'm glad I've become a lot more diverse with my characters lately - there's an immense difference now (four years into college) from when I started (bored in high school). With lots more considerations taken to mind, let's see how our characters have grown!
(Most recent pictures at the top.)

The main character, and perhaps ultimately the most diverse of them all. Throughout the story's course he goes through the most changes (though everyone sees their fair share of difference). I started disliking his original design for a time, but now I like it more, especially with its more recent improvements and modifications. He's always had a simple life and a simple look, but that simplicity does not foretell shallowness of any aspect. I gave him his hair—which will go through a lot more changes in the story, as noted by my random pics—to make him a little "different", although most of himself is "different" already. He could wear almost anything (as long as he looks like a Mage) (and it's reddish).

The second main character, who just about shares the main role with Ronou. She is as simple as he is on the inside, but a lot more knowledgeable, which is another reason she is of use to his adventure. She's themed after two of my two favorite colors, blue and pink(ish purple). At first, I had a ton of trouble designing and drawing her in an interesting way. An overhaul of design recently has helped overcome that.

A skilled yet reticent Booman with a past that's made him quiet. He may seem creepy in his silence, but he's trustworthy. The hard part is getting him to trust you. In the past, each time I drew Sabér he looked somewhat different. It's still true, but not as powerfully and noticably as it once was. He went from an overly simple design to something more coordinated but still minimalistic. (No clothes yet!)

With a past entwined in dark Syndacate matters, Sarn is a mystery to most... and he likes it that way. In his clever smirk his evil side shows. With the development of these premises, I was able to change Sarn accordingly. Being slightly less flexible than the rest of the cast, he doesn't have the need to take any drastic design changes over time. However, there is always something to be improved upon.
